Exploring Alchemy and Its Applications |
In the meeting, Michelle and EnglishMystic discussed the concept of alchemy, its origins, and its applications. Michelle explained that alchemy is a process of transmuting base materials into their most actualized, elevated form, and it is universally applicable. She also mentioned that alchemy has influenced both spiritual practices and modern sciences. EnglishMystic asked about the comparison of alchemy with other approaches, to which Michelle responded that alchemy is embedded in many traditions, including Shamanism. They also discussed the common misunderstanding of alchemy as turning lead into gold and the misuse of the term "as above, so below." Michelle emphasized the importance of understanding the true meaning of these terms and their relationship to the spiritual and physical realms. The conversation ended with Michelle suggesting that memorizing the Emerald Tablet, a core text of alchemy, can create a deeper connection with its wisdom. |
Alchemy's 7 Stages and Transformation |
In the meeting, Michelle discussed the 7 stages of alchemy, emphasizing the importance of transformation in life. She explained that the cycle of alchemy is divided into three phases: death, purification, and rebirth. The first stage, calcination, involves the loss and death of physical structures, while the second stage, dissolution, involves the loss or death of energetic and emotional structures. The third stage, separation, involves analysis and discernment. The fourth stage, conjunction, involves putting things together in a new form. The fifth stage, fermentation, involves the reanimation or spiritization of the initial form. The sixth stage, distillation, involves the repeated process of evaporation and condensation of a substance to create a concentrated essence. The final stage, coagulation, involves reaching a place of completion and radiance. Michelle also mentioned that the alchemist's transformation can have a ripple effect on the world around them. |
Alchemy in Personal Transformation Discussed |
||||
Michelle and EnglishMystic discussed the concept of alchemy and its application in personal transformation. Michelle explained that alchemy is a natural process of transformation, with different stages representing different aspects of life. She shared that people can get stuck in any stage, and the process is not about perfection but about moving forward. EnglishMystic found the concept interesting and saw its potential in helping navigate different stages in life, such as this podcast and shamanic work. Michelle also shared her personal experience of getting stuck in the first three stages of alchemy, but now feels more comfortable navigating between them.
